Strictly Come Dancing fans were left in tears as Amy Dowden returned to the dancefloor for the live final.

It comes after Amy Dowden updated her loyal legion of fans with another devastating health update after she was rushed to hospital just last month. On Thursday (November 30), the professional ballroom dancer revealed she was diagnosed with a blood clot on her lung after her recent hospital visit on Monday (November 27). Amy – who completed her chemotherapy treatment recently – reassured fans that she is recovering well.
Taking to Instagram, the BBC star candidly detailed her “nightmare week” to her loyal legion of fans online. Speaking in a video, Amy explained: “Unfortunately, I’ve had another nightmare this week. Just seems to be never-ending…

Amy recently revealed that she had recently broken her foot just days after ringing the bell after she completed her cancer treatment. Taking to Instagram, the star shared a picture of her foot strapped up in a medical boot as she shared her new injury online.
She wrote: “Not the week I was hoping for since finishing chemo. Port out but unfortunately gained a boot for a fractured foot. Absolutely gutted and heartbroken as this means the plans for me to dance in the Strictly Ballroom this year are no longer possible.
Amy recently shared the dazzling snaps taken in a glamorous photoshoot for Women’s Health UK as the magazine’s December cover star. The ballroom expert was the vision of beauty as she posed up a storm in the glamorous spread and opened up about her diagnosis in May.
