Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has revealed he had a group sex session with two of his co-stars early on in the life of the show.
The reality star, 41, is still filming for the show, now called Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, and is a completely new person. He’s ditched the heavy drinking and party lifestyle and is now a loving husband and father.
But back in his day, he could be seen on MTV hooking up with countless beauties – and, as he would put it, a few “grenades” too. And during one particular encounter, he wasn’t alone.

In his new autobiography Reality Check: Making the Best of The Situation – How I Overcame Addiction, Loss and Prison, Mike details a number of sexual liaisons he had because of the show’s popularity. He writes that, before season one had even airs, a woman recognised him on a plane from the show’s trailer.
He invited her to meet up in Los Angeles, where he was due to promote the show. “This time, Vinny and Pauly were with me,” he writes.
“Like Biggie said, I told her, ‘Tell your friends to get with my friends, and we can be friends.’ Let’s just say she showed up with her two friends, I showed up with my two friends, and we all became friends.”
The story going public won’t be news for Mike’s co-stars Paul ” Pauly D” Delvecchio and Vinny Guadagnino. Mike told TooFab: “They definitely knew about those headlines, because a couple of months ago we had spoke about it, myself, Vinny and Pauly, we were talking about this instance of an MVP orgy and we had discussed, I think there was more than one.
“We were just fooling around and we had a little bit of a chuckle. Obviously, they know it’s in the book.”
Unsurprisingly, it’s not the only romp Mike writes about in his book, which was written with Andy Symonds. He also speaks of a “devil’s threesome in Miami” during season two, but it never aired.
He says he realised halfway through that “there’s a whole production crew in the control room watching this”. Mike goes on: “I didn’t care.
“I grabbed a pillow and held it over my butt, but unable to focus on the task at hand, I eventually gave up and dropped it. I’m sure the control room got a good show. No one ever mentioned it.”
And as the show’s popularity soared, so did the notches on his bed post. Mike says how he was having a “threesome every night” while doing club appearances to promote the show.
Nowadays, he’s a one-woman man. He has been married to wife Lauren since 2018, and they have two children together, though are expecting their third.
