Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker have recently welcomed their first child together, but are yet to show his face to the world – Reddit users have devised a theory as to why.
Fans and critics alike have been talking about why the A-listers haven’t posted a picture of their precious new born yet. The child, named Rocky Thirteen, was born on November 1 and is Kourtney’s fourth child and Travis’ third.

One Reddit user posted to a forum and wondered whether the pair’s existing children have anything to do with why Rocky has been kept away from the spotlight. They wrote: “I haven’t been following [The Kardashians] news, so if I missed it, sorry! I wonder why Kourtney hasn’t shared a picture of her new baby. Could it possibly be because she shared so much with her other babies that she wants to keep this one private?”

However, some had a different theory and reckoned that the longer she waits to share her son, the more interest Kourtney will generate over him. Someone else chimed in with: “The longer she waits the more money it’s worth. I doubt she cares about the [baby’s] privacy. It was very recent that she let her daughter [cry because] she just found out her mom is getting married on TV.”
A third person then said: “Why would she? She owes no-one [any pictures]. But, let’s be real, she’s saving the reveal for whatever will get her the most money,” while someone else simply suggested the couple “want to monetise” the reveal.

One source spoke to The U.S. Sun about Kourtney’s “period of absence” and said that it was “always part of her plan.” The insider told the publication that she “always wanted 40 days to recuperate after giving birth” as it was “hard and physically and emotionally challenging”.

They claimed she “had no intention of rushing back out there” and “wants to slow it all down,” which makes her pals “worried that she’ll never return to public life”. According to the source, “when her family ask about when she’ll be back to work” the star tells them “she won’t be rushed”.
Rocky is now a brother to seven siblings, including Mason, Penelope and Reign, who are Kourtney’s children with her ex Scott Disick. Travis’ children are Alabama and Landon, whom the Blink-182 rocker shares with his former wife Shannon Moakler.
