The newsreader couldn’t help but take one cheeky jab at her co-star as she introduced the segment, joking: “Time now for the weather and Carol is at a rather festive location. She’s aged a bit but she still looks well.

“Carol, you’re looking fine [this morning]” she teased. Luckily, the 61-year-old brushed off the cheeky comment which could land her colleague on the naughty list in time for Christmas and moved on.

The broadcaster shared the latest weather report which warned Brits up and down the country that they could expect a wet Christmas this year before Naga Munchetty moved onto the next segment. But this isn’t the first time that Naga has ruffled some feathers this week on the famous red sofa.

On Thursday (December 21), Charlie and Naga were seen bickering over a festive segment on the show. It didn’t take long before the raven-haired beauty made sure to involve the weather reporter in their latest “domestic”.

Naga noted: “You dodged that, you dodged that so far” as the blonde beauty fumed; “I hate getting involved in your domestics, you two. It’s much safer keeping out of it.”

The broadcaster chuckled: “I’ll show you a domestic” before Carol immediately jumped to her latest weather bulletin. It comes after BBC Broadcaster reporter Ben Bouluos was mistaken for a food market stall vendor during a live broadcast.
