ITV bosses are reportedly keen to fork out £500,000 for Sarah Ferguson to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.
The civilian reboot, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, made its return to screens on ITV2 in October. And due to its success, it was quickly announced that Celebrity Big Brother will be making a comeback too.
The star-studded ITV show will make its return to screens next March. And it appears ITV executives are set to pull out all of the stops.

So much so, that they are keen to sign Duchess of York, also known as Sarah Ferguson, in an attempt to pull in big audiences. And it appears they don’t mind throwing down the cash.
An ITV source told the Mirror: ‘Sarah would be a brilliant signing for Celebrity Big Brother. She is very smart, engaging and funny. Not to mention the millions of viewers she would pull in if she began talking to housemates about the Royal Family and Prince Andrew.”
‘Sarah has never considered reality formats in the past but ITV bosses are hoping their offer might change that position.”
The source went on to say that singing her would be a “massive coup.” This is something the insider claims is why bosses are “digging deep for the offer they plan to make her.”
It’s believed Sarah impressed bosses after her stint on This Morning in November. The Duchess of York made her first appearance on the ITV show on Monday (November 20).
Sarah she took on presenting duties with co-hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary. In addition to presenting the show, she also became the show’s editor, choosing the stories to be discussed.

As the titles finished, Sarah joined Hammond and O’Leary, who took the reins of the show immediately: “Hello and welcome to Monday’s This Morning, and a very warm welcome to our guest editor and co-host Sarah!” Alison asked Sarah how she was doing, to which she responded: “Terrified!”
Sarah kept up her feelings of terror as Alison and Dermot tried to put the Duchess of York to rest. “It’s your show, I’m the fluff!” she quipped to her co-hosts.
Former Big Brother star Alison was quick to keep the show going as she tipped her hat to Sarah, who was taking on two different roles throughout the course of the show. The Duchess then paid tribute to the staff working on the ITV show, who helped her understand her place within the programme.
“Oh yeah, it’s tough – and I have to look in all the different cameras, and there’s just such an amazing team here at This Morning,” she added. “It’s an amazing team, I will tell you – apart from you two,” which sent her co-presenters into fits of laughter.
