Elvis is being brought back from the dead to do a hologram show world tour.
Fans of the late star will be able to watch a creepy digital version of him powered by AI in London in November followed by concerts in Tokyo, Las Vegas and Berlin. The Elvis Evolution show created by immersive entertainment specialist Layered Reality will feature thousands of The King’s personal photos and hours of the late star’s home-video archive.
CEO of the Brit company, Andrew McGuinness, said: “It’ll be a memory-making experience that will be a bucket list item for Elvis fans and admirers around the world; people can step into the world of Elvis, walk in his shoes and celebrate his extraordinary musical legacy.

“Elvis Evolution is a next generation tribute to the musical legend that is Elvis Presley. Elvis maintains superstar status globally and people around the world no longer want to sit there and passively receive entertainment – they want to be a part of it.” According to the show’s description “music, technology and storytelling” will give a deep insight into Elvis’ life, and allow fans to “experience his meteoric rise to fame and larger-than-life persona”.
It will also examine “the cultural movement he catalysed in the 1950s and 1960s”. There will be an after-party featuring a Elvis-themed bar and restaurant at the location of the London concert, which has not yet been revealed. The party will also feature live music, DJs and performances which will celebrate the life of the music icon and Suspicious Minds hitmaker
News of the show comes after Joel Weinshanker, Managing Partner of Graceland Holdings, which manages Elvis’ Graceland estate, previously said the rock star was all shook up at the thought of him being turned into a hologram. He said in August 2021: “The reason we won’t do a hologram is because Elvis had a conversation with three or four people and I’ve spoken with every single person in the room.

“And it’s obvious that he didn’t like them, never wanted to be one, thought it was kitschy, didn’t think it was real. What he realised is there was no soul in it. At the end of the day, there’s no soul in a hologram.” Elvis died of a heart attack in August 1977 and would have turned 89 on Monday (January 8) if he was still alive.
