Stephen Bear ‘to be released from jail this month’ after Georgia Harrison sex tape scandal

Reality TV star Stephen Bear is set to be released from jail later this month after spending 11 months behind bars.

The Celebs Go Dating star was sentenced to 21 months for filming and sharing a sex tape with ex Georgia Harrison without her consent. According to a source, he has vowed to stay away from his usual brash social media antics when he gets out.

An insider told The Sun: “Stephen has served his time – and he’s due out of prison in the next few weeks. However, he’s been telling pals he’s not the same man that went into prison.

“There will be no hopping back on to social media or rolling straight back into the nearest nightclub when he gets out, he says he just wants to get back to east London and his family. Obviously, time will tell if he has changed his ways.”

After he was convicted for his crimes, Georgia made a few statements regarding her feelings on the situation and her choice to stand up for herself and others who may find themselves in similar situations.

Georgia said: “Today’s sentence is a vindication of what I’ve been put through and sends a clear message that the police and the courts take this matter very seriously.

“I want to let all other victims of this crime know that I stand in solidarity with them and I have absolutely no regrets on waiving my anonymity. I hope that this puts anyone off committing this sort of crime and I hope for anyone else who has been victim of it (that) it gives them some sort of justice.”

“Millions of people were watching me and laughing at me and it was completely, utterly out of my control. He’s left me feeling hurt, embarrassed, insignificant and insecure in so many ways. I simply don’t have the confidence I used to have.”
