Blake Lively reveals how Ryan Reynolds feels about her ‘making love to someone else’

Blake Lively dished just how her famous husband Ryan Reynolds feels about her sex scenes – and insists she isn’t “making love to someone else” in raunchy films.

Thankfully, Ryan understands what it’s like to have to simulate sex on-screen, which Blake confessed helps their marriage to stay happy. She told Good Morning America back in 2017: “In general, it’s nice to have someone who understands what you’re doing. Especially because our job is so weird.

“You have to be married to other people, it’s all so strange. It’s never normal, even when you’re both doing it. It’s helpful to know when you’re acting that you’re in a relationship with someone else, that that’s not what’s actually happening.

“Because I have friends who aren’t married to someone who’s in the business and they’re like, ‘Oh, so you’re not actually making love in that scene?’ And I’m like, ‘No, no, no, no, definitely not.’”

Blake admits, however, that seeing naked boobs will always be distracting on set. She said: “I’m very in love with my husband, but if there’s a pair of boobs out, I’m a human being! You’re like, ‘Boobs!’ It doesn’t mean I’m lusting for them, but when there’s naked boobies, you look at them.”

But the other side of the coin is “torture” for Blake. She confessed that watching Ryan’s naked Deadpool scenes nearly tipped her over the edge on a flight, telling Jimmy Fallon: “I was on a plane with my baby.

“It’s kind of torture these days, because I’m on a plane and everywhere I look there’s my husband in a sex montage throughout the holidays with another woman – because everyone wants to watch Deadpool on a plane. So for 14 hours having your husband have mashed potatoes eaten out of his butthole – because that’s in the film. It’s lonely, it’s a cruel and unusual form of torture.”

Things got even more awkward when James noticed her father on the screen, with Blake adding: “My daughter goes ‘Dada’ and is hugging and kissing the screen and waving at him and doesn’t understand why he isn’t waving back. Because she thinks it’s like FaceTime. But she doesn’t understand Dada is getting it with the mashed potatoes.”

In 2012, Blake ruled out stripping off for films, explaining it’s just “not right” for her as an actress. She said: “When I see nudity in movies, I am always distracted by it. I know that if I am watching a scene and someone has their boobs out, then that’s all I’m looking at – I can’t help it. I just don’t think that will ever be right for me.”

But by the time 2017’s All I See is You rolled around, Blake made an exception to her rule because the film was so “intense”. She told Variety: “It’s the performance that I’m most proud of.” She said director Marc Forster didn’t seem “unmoving” so read the script with the intention to “talk him out of” the nude scenes.
