Hollyoaks legend Charlie Clapham is putting his leather jacket back on and reprising the role of Freddie Roscoe seven years after he left the Chester village.
Having been the last Roscoe standing, Freddie left in 2017 after seeking “justice” by attacking on-off girlfriend Ellie Nightingale’s attacker, leading to the lone-ranger going on the run. Freddie will have a lot of catching up to do, especially with half-brother Darren Osborne, who’s got his hands full at the Osborne household trying to reconnect with his estranged children.
Freddie’s on-screen return date is yet to be announced, but he will be back as a series regular this Spring. He remains one of the show’s most loved characters as the epitome of a bad boy with a heart.
