Orlando Bloom once went without any sexual pleasure at all for six whole months – all to connect with his ‘feminine’ side.
Katy Perry’s beau confessed that he was sick of being known as a “pretty boy” who “loved women”. So to change that perception about himself, he first committed to three months without sex or masturbation, which extended into six.
He told The Sunday Times that his friend first gave him the idea, explaining he was told: “If you want to be serious about a relationship, go celibate for a few months and figure it out. It takes away the idea of going to a party and thinking, ‘Who am I going to meet?’ I was suddenly, like, ‘Oh, I can have a relationship with a woman that is just friends.’

“I was going to do three months, but I was really enjoying the way I was relating to women, and to the feminine within myself. I know that sounds crazy.” Orlando said he went for “completely nothing”, explaining: “It was insane. I don’t think it’s healthy. I don’t think it was advisable. You have to keep it moving down there.”

But the Lord of the Rings star is completely against pornography, which he brands “super-disruptive” to one’s libido and sex life. And after that, he met Katy Perry at the 2016 Golden Globes.
With Katy, Orlando isn’t holding himself back when it comes to sex. When those naked paddle-boarding snaps showed just how much heat he’s packing down there went viral, it left fans wondering just how he managed six months by himself.

Katy told Vanity Fair of the naked incident: “Well it was Europe. Honestly, we had a pretty chill time for a week and everywhere we looked it was like everybody was naked. It was Europe, it was Italy, and I think he wanted to fit in with the locals and it was the end of the trip.
“I was like, eye roll, eye roll, eye roll, and then all of the sudden, he is number one trending on Twitter and I was like, ‘How?! How?’”

Katy says Bloom is like a “wild stallion” in the sack, after Kyle and Jackie O Show host Kyle Sandilands asked her: “Have you got your husband-to-be wearing pants on holiday now after those photos? Is he more ‘proper’ now that he’s a dad? Is he doing dad things?”
I Kissed A Girl hitmaker Perry joked: “He’s not changed one bit! You can’t put reins on that man! He’s a wild stallion, and that’s how I like it!” Despite that, since welcoming their daughter Daisy, Bloom told The Guardian he hasn’t been having “enough” sex with the star.
