Iron Maiden legend Bruce Dickinson keeps passing out while dabbling with his didgeridoo.
The Aussie instrument is notoriously difficult to master and the singer said he has blacked out a few times. Bruce has owned one for years but still can’t master the tricky breathing technique that’s needed to play it.
He said he keeps gasping for air and collapsing.

Bruce now plans to head Down Under where he hopes aborigines will teach him to play properly – an honour not normally granted to outsiders.
Didgeridoo players have to repeatedly inhale through the nose while keeping the lips sealed and the cheeks inflated – known as circular breathing.
They then have to exhale through the mouth while keeping the cheeks inflated. Repeating the technique
allows continuous playing.
Bruce, 65, said: “I’ve passed out a few times trying to do the circular breathing.
“I get as far as semi-circular breathing and then it’s all over.”
Bruce has fronted Iron Maiden since 1981. As well as being a musician, he holds a commercial pilot’s licence, and has written novels and screenplays.
