Holly Willoughby dazzles in gorgeous gown as she returns to TV on Dancing On Ice

Holly Willoughby has left fans with their jaws on the floor after unveiling her show-stopping gown for her big television comeback.

The presenter donned a floor-length glitzy dress as she prepared for her return to ITV. The star looked beautiful as she sported an ultra glam look for the new skating series.

The 42-year-old finally made her return to television after months away. Holly quit This Morning in October after a very difficult 12 months.

Things took a turn for Holly in September 2022 after Queen Elizabeth II died. She and then-co-host Phillip Schofield were accused of pushing in line at the Queen’s lying in state.

ITV defended the duo by saying they were taken to the press gallery and did not walk past the coffin, unlike other celebrities who queued, like David Beckham. However it certainly left a bad taste in viewers’ mouths.

Holly was then drawn into Phillip’s scandals, which saw him leave This Morning and then ITV altogether. He admitted to having had an affair with a younger runner on This Morning and lying to everyone, including Holly, about it.

Holly took time away from the ITV daytime show following Phillip’s exit. However things didn’t end there.

In early October 2023, a man was arrested after an alleged plot to kidnap and murder Holly was discovered by the police. Not long after, Holly announced she had quit This Morning.

She understandably took a step back from the spotlight afterwards, with questions raised about whether she would be back for Dancing On Ice. Luckily for fans, it was confirmed that Holly would come back.

But with Phillip quitting ITV, he needed a replacement. That spot went to Stephen Mulhern, who had previously stood in for Schofe in an earlier series of the skating show.

Dancing On Ice continues Sundays at 6.30pm on ITV
