Britiain’s biggest brood have left viewers stunned after they revealed they were searching for a new house — but one they liked could leave the family divided.
Sue Radford, 48, and her husband Noel, 52, are parents to a whopping 22 children. Their children include Christopher, 34; Sophie, 29; Chloe, 28; Jack, 26; Daniel, 24; Luke, 23; Millie, 22; Katie, 20; James, 19; Ellie, 18; Aimee, 17; Josh, 16; Max, 14; Tillie, 13; Oscar, 11; Casper, 11; Hallie, eight; Phoebe, seven; Archie, six; Bonnie, four; and three-year-old Heidie.
In the latest episode of their Channel 5 series, 22 Kids and Counting, the couple explained that they often get visits from fans and the public — but they now want more “privacy” for their children and have made the decision to move house. Sue explained: “I’m more than happy to meet people out and about, but I think when it’s your house, it’s just not ok.

“There’s definitely a line we draw with privacy, I think we have to. When they open the gate and knock on the door, that’s a line you don’t cross.”
Noel added: “I think this has gone too far. We don’t think we can live here anymore, so we’ve decided to make another attempt to move house.”
A clip from the episode shows the pair finding heir dream property — but there was a big problem — it was too small.
The pair were then faced with a decision that could “split up” the family as they would be downsizing from their 10-bed property in Morecombe to a house with only 7 bedrooms. However, Noel said the property had everything they’ve “been looking for. It ticked every box.”
After one rejected offer and some negotation with the estate agent, the couple managed to bag the house but noted they will need to convert the garage and add an extention to be able to fit all of their children. Although, this would cost twice their budget, leaving them considering having five children move out of the family home at once – Jack, 26, Daniel, 24, Luke, 23, Katie, 21, and James, 20.
Sue told the kids: “This journey started off with me and dad falling in love with this house, but we can’t fit everyone in. There’s too many of you.”
Noel added: “We looked at each of you and thought, ‘can they look after themselves?’. ‘No’ was the answer, some of you probably can’t, but do you know what, you’re going to have to start. So you five, you won’t be coming with us.”
Although, the parents came up with a solution — the kids will stay in the Morecombe property and rent it from their parents. But they will have to cover their own bills and shopping costs.
However, the decision left fans divided over the move as they took to Twitter to give their opinions. One user said: “So they decided to have so many kids and now they’ve ran out of space they’re kicking some out to be independent? Think Noel needs to make an independent decision to wear a condom.”

Another argued: “‘When i was 18’ well mate it is not the 1800s anymore AND ITS REALLY HARD TO GET A JOB LET ALONE A F**KING HOUSE/APARTMENT.” Meanwhile, a third commented: “I love these parents and their family. They are the most adjusted family I know. Family values seem to be more important the bigger the family the closer they all are. God bless them all.”
The Radfords currently live in a grand house in Morecombe, complete with an outdoor seating area and a £26,000 hot tub that was delivered by crane. Sue and Noel, along with their children, run a successful bakery business, The Radford’s Pie Company, which has been serving fresh pies across the UK since 1999.
Some of their children, like Chloe, have been heavily involved in the family business for the past five years. Their eldest daughter Sophie now has her own family with three children; Daisy Mae, Ayprill Louise and Leo Thomas. Sophie and Noel got married when she was 17 and he was 21.
