Ulrika’s unfortunate hospital dash came shortly after she hit the news last week after ex-England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson spoke out about his terminal cancer diagnosis. With the mum-of-three not really having much to say about it.
Sven and Ulrika embarked on an affair while the then England and Manchester City manager had been in a long-term relationship with Italian lawyer Nancy Dell’Olio, 62. With the football boss moving to London after landing the post of the Three Lions chief in 2001, meeting Ulrika in the process.
On Thursday 11 January, Sven announced that he had a year “or maybe a little less” left to live. With the ex-England manager having discovered his cancer after he’d collapsed during a 5k run, with doctors later discovering he’d suffered a stroke which led to his cancer diagnosis.
In light of their past relationship and Sven’s serious health condition, Ulrika took to social media telling fans that she “didn’t have anything to say”. She uploaded a blast-from-the-past snap of herself, adding: “Look at me being all young all that.”
