In walked series six star Callum, the first bombshell of the series. Maya revealed that Callum must pick one of the girls to couple up with. But in yet another twist, Maya announced that another bombshell was on their way. Arriving in style was Molly, Callum’s ex-girlfriend.
Callum and Molly met when she entered Casa Amor as a bombshell in 2020, turning his head away from Shaughna Phillips. The couple continued their journey outside of the villa, staying together for more than three years.
Their split was confirmed in September 2023 as the couple moved out of their joint home. Now, the exes have reunited in what fans have branded the “best twist ever”.
But others took to social media to question whether the couple had actually split, speculating it could be a “publicity stunt”. One wrote: “Molly and Callum are still together they are going in there for the fame duuuuuhhhhhh.”
A second agreed: “Callum & Molly still got pictures together on their insta… could be a publicity stunt.” Another asked: “Are we even sure that Callum and Molly aren’t together still lol.”
A fourth claimed: “I don’t care what anyone says. Molly & Callum have split up purposely to go in for this reason. Been together 3 years and conveniently split 6 months before All Stars airs they’re getting paid the bigggggg bucks.”
Someone else added: “Don’t believe for a second that Callum and Molly have split up. Total game”. A sixth theorised: “Sorry but I don’t think Molly and Callum ever split up… they we’re together for 3 years and only recently split up… this is one big publicity stunt. Love Island as per usual faking drama.”
