Corrie Adam Barlow’s brutal soap death ‘rumbled’ — but Damon’s not the killer

Coronation Steet’s Adam Barlow could be killed off from the soap AI has claimed – but not by his enemy Damon Hay.

The character, played by Sam Robertson, has been a regular on the cobbles since – making his debut back in 2004. And over the years, he’s been in several dramatic storylines too.

Over in the soap at the moment, he’s desperate to get rid of bad boy Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths) who returned to the cobbles last week. Damon has since resumed his relationship with Adam’s ex Sarah and Adam is not happy.

So much so, that Adam paid Damon’s brother and criminal Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) a visit in jail. Angry, Adam told Harvey they had to work together to get rid of Damon.

Adam’s deal with Harvey could bite him in the back

Harvey agreed and set up a hitman to kill Damon. And as part of the deal, Adam told him that he had a watertight case for an appeal.

During another meeting later that day, it appeared that Adam was getting cold feet. But Harvey wasn’t having any of it. He told Adam that if he crosses him, the person who’s dealing with Damon will deal with him too.

Now, AI has claimed Adam could be getting killed off by Harvey for a “dramatic impact.” Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI to see if Harvey could kill Adam off. The program responded: “The writers are always keeping us guessing, and Harvey’s intentions towards Adam remain shrouded in mystery.” The system then pointed out several reasons.

Bard AI said: “If Harvey’s primary goal is to eliminate a threat or inflict pain, Adam might be perceived as a more vulnerable target compared to the cunning and resourceful Damon.” The program also noted Harvey killing Damon would have “dramatic impact.”

It said: “From a purely storytelling perspective, a twist involving Harvey killing Adam could have a more significant impact on the narrative and character dynamics within Coronation Street.”

Fans have also echoed Bard AI’s thoughts, and claim Adam is going to regret teaming up with criminal Harvey. One person said: “Harvey and Adam have struck a deal. I just hope this doesn’t backfire on Adam?”

Someone else added: “I think Adam is going to regret teaming up with Harvey.” A third quipped: “Adam needs to be careful – This vendetta with Damon and partnership with Harvey could be putting his life on the line.”

When asked what Damon’s true motives are behind his return to the cobbles, actor Ciaran admitted that his character is determined to win Sarah back. Ciaran said: “He’s definitely obsessed with trying to get Sarah back, he’s proper smitten.

“He’s been thinking about her every day for the last few months and wants to scratch that itch.” Despite the fact that the bad boy wants to make a fresh go of it and try and go straight, he admitted that Damon has some big plans to get revenge on Adam.”
