Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry thanks fans for support as she shares ‘silent’ health battle

Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry received encouragement and praise from her followers online as she opened up on her health anxiety.

The 28-year-old headed over to Instagram to share that she was feeling down, while also taking to her Snapchat account to reveal the same. Posting a bare-faced snap of herself on her social media platform, Chloe explained to her followers that she sometimes has low days which are triggered by the death of her dad.

The brave star wrote: “I would like to use my platform to encourage more people to speak about health anxiety. This is my personal truth that I am sharing with all of you today, as life is not always as perfect as our posts may seem.

“In fact, it is often quite the opposite! I have been silently struggling with health anxiety ever since my dad suddenly passed away. It has been an ongoing battle that sometimes leaves me feeling really overwhelmed and vulnerable.”

Seeing her honest post, fans and other well known faces rushed to the comment section to encourage Chloe. Safiyya Vorajee said: “I’m sorry you’re feeling this way, and for the loss of your dad, it’s so overwhelming and triggering, wearing a brave happy face and trying to be strong its tiring Chloe take time out for your wellbeing my lovely be gentle with yourself love you lots always here if you want or need to speak.”

Celebs Go Datings Anna Williamson said: “Here for you Chloe. You’re not alone my darling and there are a lot of people that go through this.”

A third social media user shared: “I’ve suffered with anxiety for a very long time to the point it stopped me leaving my house so I know how it feels. Take each day at a time chin up chloe better days are ahead.”

While a fourth added: “I’ve had health anxiety for 20 years! It’s a battle daily.”

Later on, Chloe headed back on to social media to thank her followers for their support while letting them know she felt a lot better. She also said she plans to reduce her coffee intake. She said: “Honestly I feel so much better that I’ve just got it off my chest. It makes me feel a lot better that so many people feel the same, I had so many people telling me that they feel similar.”

Chloe’s dad sadly passed away in 2021. He had unfortunately lost his battle with cancer.
