Hollyoaks returness Hannah Ashworth (Emma Rigby) finds herself on the wrong side of Carter Shepherd in upcoming scenes.
The fan favourite recently made a shocking comeback to the village after 13 years leaving Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) gobsmacked. Hannah’s not alone as her mum Suzanne Ashworth (Suzanne Hall) is also returning as part of a big new story involving Darren – who is the father of her twins.
As Hannah settles into the Osbornes’, she is quick to remind Darren of his fatherly duties. Jack Osbourne (Jimmy McKenna) also tries to encourage his son to make an effort with the twins and he eventually comes to his senses after an eye-opening chat with Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter)

Taking their advice, Darren tries to mend his broken relationship with his twins Frankie ( Isabelle Smith) and Jack Jr (Ryan Mulvey)., but it is clearly not going to be an easy ride. Elsehwere, Gareth (Peter McPherson) continues to threaten Carter Shepherd (David Ames) after filming him and John Paul (James Sutton) kissing outside Hollyoaks High.
Hannah walked in on the pair kissing in recent scenes as she shared a a joyous reunion with her first love John Paul. It later became clear that Hannah is in trouble with an unknown caller but her day got even worse when she overheard an upsetting conversation between Gareth and Carter. Concerned about what she heard, Hannah confronted Carter at the school, prompting him to lose his temper.
As seen in Hollyoaks’ brand new trailer, Carter turns violent with Hannah during this confrontation, knocking her unconscious. Following their showdown, Artificial Intelligence tool, Bard AI, told Daily Star the relationship between Carter and Hannah “has been complex and volatile” and the fate of both characters “remains shrouded in mystery”. Does this mean that they already know each other?

The drama doesn’t stop there, either, as Hannah’s mum Suzanne arrives in the village in upcoming scenes. The Osbornes finally seem to be bonding when Suzanne comes bursting in, asking where the twins are. Hannah begs her mum to let the twins stay with Darren, but Suzanne isn’t having any of it and begins packing up their belongings.
As Darren begs for one more day with his children, JJ admits to Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) that the family don’t actually have a home to go back to. Wanting to help, Nancy suggests that they all stay until they find their feet again – but how will this go down with Suzanne?
Hollyoaks airs weeknights on E4 at 7pm followed by new episodes on Channel 4 streaming at 7.30pm
