Dancing on Ice winner Sonny Jay has announced he is expecting his first child with his girlfriend Danielle Peazer.
The new parents-to-be shared the joyous news on social media with an adorable video online. Sonny, who rose to fame as one part of the cheeky Britain’s Got Talent boyband Loveable Rogues, could hardly contain his excitement online.
It is understood the Capital FM star and the 35-year-old dancer have been together since the start of 2023, with their romance hitting the headlines back in August. On Wednesday (January 24) afternoon, the radio host teased the exciting news in a black and white photo with Danielle.

He captioned the post: “We’ve got some news for you… I’m so excited I think I may cry [heart emoji, crying emoji].” Later on that evening, the happy coupe shared a video on Instagram of the pair cuddling and kissing, showing the star’s blossoming baby bump.

Danielle captioned the post: “We’re having a baby. It’s a secret we’ve been keeping for a while, enjoying this little bubble of excitement and preparing for our biggest adventure so far.
“But now we feel ready to share this journey with you, including the highs (and inevitable tantrums) it will bring. Arriving Spring 2024 [sparkle emoji].
“We can’t post this without acknowledging those who may be struggling with fertility or pregnancy issues and are sending love to anyone effected.” It didn’t take long before their famous friends and loyal legion of fans showered them with congratulatory comments online.

Strictly star Molly Rainford penned: “[heart emoji] Congratulations, so happy for you.” Kate Lawler agreed: “Yessssssss! Congratulations guys. Also welcome to hell [heart emoji].”
Gabby Allen gushed: “Congratulations to you babe” as Pixie Lott echoed: “Amazing news waaa congratulations!! [four heart emojis].” Giovanna Fletcher chimed in with: “Oh my goodness!!! So incredibly happy for you both!!!”
The news came a year after Sonny split from music producer Lauren Faith, who he popped the question to back in 2020. Influencer and model Danielle previously dating One Direction star Liam Payne for two years until they split in 2012.

More than a decade later, they decided to rekindle their romance again for a brief fling over the summer in 2022. Sharing her romance with Sonny last year, Danielle gushed: “After years of mistreatment, I learned that the reason I’d accepted so little from guys is because I hadn’t put in the work on myself to discover my boundaries, find my confidence and also know my worth.
“Without even realising that I’d evolved, I met Sonny, and I didn’t even need to express my morals, standards or desires in a relationship. He just gets it. He gets me, and I’ve never felt safety in a relationship like this.
“So much so, that I feel proud to share a private segment of my life with my online community, something I haven’t done for years, if ever in this way.”
