Michael Jackson’s youngest son Bigi Jackson has been spotted in a rare family photo and fans couldn’t believe how much he looks like his late dad.
The 21-year-old, who was born Prince Michael Jackson II but was best known as Blanket before changing his name to Bigi, usually keeps a low profile and is scarcely spotted out in public. But in a group picture shared on Instagram by Norwegian rapper Omer Bhatti over the weekend, he posed with his famous cousins.
Bigi could be seen standing on the right-hand side of the photo alongside Jermaine Jackson’s kids, Randy Jackson Jr., Donté Jackson, Royal Jackson and Jermajesty Jackson. He looked directly at the camera while holding his hands crossed in front of him and wearing an all-black ensemble.

The King of Pop’s son previously had long dark locks that flowed down way past his shoulders but appears to have chopped his hair into a shorter style. Fans were quick to compare him to his father, who died in 2009 when Bigi was just seven years old.
“Bigi looks just like MJ,” one person commented. Another wrote: “Bigi looks so much like his dad”. A third agreed, adding: “Bigi looks like Michael.”
Bigi was born via surrogate in 2002 and unlike his father, he’s renowned for maintaining a life outside of the limelight. He even got his nickname “Blanket” because Michael would often cover his face while in public in an effort to maintain his privacy.
Bigi is reported to have felt “lost and extremely upset” following his father’s shocking death. A family friend told PEOPLE all of Michael’s kids live like he is “constantly looking down upon them” but noted Bigi “had the most problems adjusting after Michael died”.
One of his last public appearances was last year when in August he attended a performance of Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson ONE show alongside his older siblings in honour of what would have been his father’s 65th birthday. Bigi wasn’t the only one of Michael’s three children to appear in Omer’s recent Instagram post, which was captioned “lately”.
It also included two videos of the singer’s only daughter, Paris Jackson. In the clips, Paris, 25, could be seen shaving Omer’s hair.
He then asks her: “You not gonna bless me?” before she bends over and kisses him on the back of the head. Omer is close with all the Jackson siblings as his mum, Pia, worked as a nanny for Michael’s eldest son, Prince, now 26, shortly after he was born.
The rapper grew up with the Jacksons and previously said Michael was like a “father figure” to him. Opening up about his relationship with the family during an episode of Paris’ former Facebook series, Unfiltered, he said: “Being on TV and having these appearances later led me to Michael Jackson, where he, in a way, adopted me and became like a mentor and a father figure for me.”
He added: “As a little kid, looking up to him, the way I did back then, it’s like everything that I saw, it’s like I was like a sponge, just taking up everything. He would later say that I was like a mini-version of him, and I ended up going on tour with him. I would have a seat, like, right on stage…”
