This Morning star Rylan Clarke was left totally red faced as newbie presenter Sam Thompson landed a cheeky dig.
On the programme, Sam took to an arcade in Canary Wharf to challenge Jaime Christian who is best known as his Gladiator alter-ego Giant – with the duo racing around playing various games to see who would be crowned the winner. Explaining the tasks at hand, Sam came to one station that was full of food items.
He told the hosts back in the studio: “It reminds me of Supermarket Sweep. Actually Rylan, you’ve never invited me on that show and I’m disappointed.” Rylan didn’t quite know what to say as his co-host chimed in with “awkward”.

Later on, Sam and Giant went head-to-head but during the basketball showdown, Sam appeared to let the cat out of the bag revealing Rylan’s secret crush live on-air.
He spilled: “Giant, I don’t know if you’ve heard but Rylan really fancies you,” as Jamie chirped back: “What’s Rylan’s favourite food?” Getting flustered in the studio the former X Factor star flirted back: “I don’t know, whatever you’re cooking.”
Sam and Giant looked to be having a lot of fun together, when Rylan told them: “I’ve never been more jealous,” as the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner responded: “Giant’s such lovely man, he’s so big and fun.”
Now blushing more than ever, the BBC Radio 2 star added: “We need to move on.”
