Love Island icon Theo Campbell has claimed he was forced to pull out of the All Star series after being “messed around”.
The 32-year-old appeared on the hit show back in 2017 and was known for turning the Spanish villa on its head. As one of the most memorable stars from the franchise, Theo had hoped to make a comeback on the new spin-off series.
But Theo has now told fans on social media that he was approached by TV bosses. However he then decided to pull out due to “politics”.

He wrote on Instagram: “I was supposed to start. But politics, so I didn’t. And now I’m not going at all. You don’t get me, mess me about, I can say that much.”
Theo previously dated series 2018 islander Kaz Crossley for 11 months after his series and claimed in a video on Instagram that he wanted to be a “wildcard” on the show. He said: “I did say originally that I’ll come on as a wildcard. I don’t know these people, they ain’t my mates. I’m just going to be there to f*** s*** up.”
He added: “I said, ‘If you’re not going to bring me on in the first two weeks not to bother at all. They wanted to bring me in towards the end and I was like, it’s only five weeks long. The first two weeks is halfway nearly, so yeah, that’s why it hasn’t worked out.”
During his series, Theo entered the Love Island villa on Day 32 during series three. But despite causing drama in the Spanish villa he was dumped nine days later.
A few years back Kaz and Theo appared very much love with fans convinved they would last. Kaz also supported Theo when he underwent surgery on his eye after a champagne bottle was popped to closely to his face.

Taking to Instagram at the time she wrote: “These last few days [have] shown me a lot and I want to tell everyone how you make me feel. Thank you for being unapologetically yourself, and being such an inspiration to many people,” Crossley gushed.
She continued: “[You] always looking at the positives and the fact you keep such high hopes when times are tough, I know we can get through anything. Thank you for keeping me so grounded, I love how you aren’t materialistic and judge people by who they are and not what they have.
“Even though we’ve been stuck in this hospital for a couple days now I would do it all over again because I know you would for me. One last thing I’m glad you didn’t [lose] your sense of humor otherwise I would have been really really bored.”
