Billie Eilish wowed the crowd at the 2024 Grammy Awards with a sweet nod to a retro Barbie outfit.
Eilish wore a green scoop neck minidress with a pink turtleneck sweater underneath as she perched on a stool and sang into the microphone. She added a long jacket over the top, which was trimmed in pink with a white and green houndstooth pattern all over.
To top off the 60s ensemble, Billie added a sweet pink silk scarf around her head, which she tied underneath her chin. She kept accessories simple, with just a pair of green pointed-toe stilettos and dainty silver rings on her fingers.

The 23-year-old wore her iconic red and black hair in a middle parting and kept makeup simple, with glowy skin, blusher and lip gloss to show off her natural beauty. Billie’s outfit was heavily inspired by a Barbie doll from the 1960s and the star channelled her inner Margot Robbie, who adopted the theme of Barbie looks while touring to promote the 2023 movie.

She posted a picture of the doll on Instagram with the caption “Poodle Parade” and informed her fans that the toy was released in 1965. Fans clocked on straight away and flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts as they debunked the cryptic message.
Someone said: “[Oh my god,] will she wear this outfit,” as another person wondered whether the Barbie doll was the inspiration for her “Grammys look” of the night. Another fan speculated: “She’s gonna wear this at the Grammys, just watch.”

More followers rushed to say that she will “pull up in the look,” that the green and pink outfit was her “dress of the night” and some even placed bets that she would turn up in the set. However, Eilish initially teased fans with her red carpet look when she first rocked up to the star-studded award show.

While posing for pictures alongside her brother Finneas, Billie wore a white shirt, a black tie and a black varsity jacket with pink accents. The Barbie logo was emblazoned across her chest as the bottom of the shirt peeked out underneath.
The Bad Guy singer wore a pair of loose black trousers with the look and tied it all together with shiny black boots. Billie styled her long layers in loose waves and added a pair of square wire framed glasses.
