Spice Girls star Geri Horner is known as being one fifth of the biggest girl band in the UK.
In the 1990s, she was catapulted to international stardom after her girl group The Spice Girls rocked the world with their first number one hit single Wannabe in 1996. Since then, she has gone from strength to strength, even launching her own solo career in 1999 when the group split.
In 2015, the songstress tied the knot with husband Christian after the pair met through her Formula 1 boss pal, Bernie Ecclestone six years earlier. Now, as the Formula 1 boss faces a gruelling investigation after an accusation of “inappropriate behaviour” by another member of staff.

As the racing boss continues to fight for his job, Daily Star has taken a deep dive inside their romance ahead of their ninth wedding anniversary.
High-profile exes

Before the pair locked eyes on each other, Geri had several relationship with high-profile stars in showbiz. During the height of her fame, the starlet had been romantically linked to Robbie Williams, Russell Brand, Fred Durst, Duncan James and Lee Ryan.
She was also briefly engaged to shipping tycoon Fabrizio Politi back in 2009 but the pair went their separate ways just three months after they announced their engagement. Geri also has an 18-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with filmmaker Sacha Gervasi.
Before Christian fell for the auburn beauty, he was married to Beverley Allen. The pair were married for 14 years and also share a daughter together called Olivia.
Love at first sight

The couple’s relationship got off to an eyebrow-raising start when the couple were first spotted together just months after he had announced his separation from his wife. The pair were spotted going out on a romantic date together by photographers just six months after the birth of his daughter.
It’s fair to say their whirlwind romance took the nation by surprise, especially when the two love birds announced their sudden engagement to the press. At the time, it was reported the 50-year old had proposed with an £80,000 diamond ring.
The pair married the following year, but the ceremony was marred by the absence of Christian’s parents. It is understood they were disappointed at the speed in which their son had moved on – so soon after Beverley had given birth to their daughter Olivia, nine.

His mum said in an interview at the time: “You can say that his parents are absolutely devastated. We won’t be going to the wedding. There is a lot more to this story than people know about – to do with his ex-partner.”
A friend later told the Sunday Mirror: “It’s a real shame and everyone involved is upset. Weddings are expected to bring families closer together, but this engagement has driven a wedge between people.”
Building relationships

But with time, Geri appeared to patch things up with her in-laws, with the family spending time together ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix in 2016. Geri, who once dated Robbie Williams, even attempted to forge a relationship with Beverley, for the sake of their kids.
A source close to the family revealed told Closer: “Geri is sick of being painted as a home wrecker. She wants to be a good stepmother to Olivia, and for all three siblings to grow up with a good relationship, so she is determined to be on civil terms.
“She knows there’s been a lot of heartache, but thinks that inviting Beverley over for children’s birthday teas is a good start towards building bridges between them.”
Growing their family

Geri, who shares daughter Bluebell Madonna, 18, with her ex-husband Sacha Gervasi, went on to have her second child with Christian in 2017 – a son they named Montague George. She told Hello! of their new family dynamics shortly afterwards: “We’ve gone from it being just Bluebell and me for so long, to this blended, modern family.”
The family-of-four now reside in two lavish properties in Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire – with one boasting its own farm and stables for 14 horses as well as a cute duck pond. Last year, Christian looked ahead to his 10th wedding anniversary to Geri, as he explained to the Telegraph: “Life works in mysterious ways.
“I didn’t marry Geri because she’s a Spice Girl. I married her because I fell in love with her. It will be 10 years this time next year, and we’ve been happily married for seven.
“We’re very different characters, but we complement each other well,” he gushed.

Dutch media reported Christian is subject to an internal investigation by his team Red Bull following allegations of inappropriate behaviour. The company released a statement regarding the allegations against Christian – who vehemently denies them.
“After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation,” the statement read. This process, which is already underway, is being carried out by an external specialist barrister. The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”
Dutch publication De Telegraaf reported Horner has been accused of “inappropriate behaviour, in particular towards one particular team member of Red Bull Racing”.
The publication added: “The boss of the energy drinks company, Oliver Mintzlaff, knows about the accusations and takes the accusations very seriously.”
