The family of Love Island All Stars’ Georgia Steel have leapt to her defence after receiving a number of “vile threats” on social media.
The influencer, 25, has caused a stir in recent episodes and landed herself in hot water with her fellow Islanders during the PDA Awards. Georgia was voted the sneakiest All Star by the public as her flirty chats with Tom Clare, 24, were aired to the villa.
After spending a night in the hideaway with Callum Jones, 27, where she insisted there was no one else she’d rather be in there with, Georgia pulled Tom to the terrace and admitted she still fancied him. Georgia also received the special recognition award alongside Toby Aromolaran, 24, where she was seen telling him that Callum couldn’t compete with their history.

Georgia was branded a “liar” by Callum before 29-year-old Molly Smith, his ex-girlfriend, walked out of the garden sobbing. Fans have since claimed she has taken the crown of “most hated Islander” while others have branded her a “snake”.
Her family, who have been running her social media accounts since she’s been in the villa, have now hit out at cruel trolls who have targeted the star on social media. Sharing a statement on her Instagram Stories on Monday (February 5), it began: “Love Island is an amazing TV show and we have loved watching this series as much as anyone else.
“The last few episodes have been difficult for us to watch, but what’s far worse is the hate Georgia is receiving online. It is a TV show and everyone has their opinions, please remember it’s not real life! Sending vile threats and nasty messages and comments is totally unacceptable. Trolling is not OK.”
They family added: “Georgia is a daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend and these hurtful comments will not only devastate her when she leaves the villa, but have deeply hurt those around her. For the messages of love, support and kindness we see you and we thank you!”
Following the explosive PDA Awards ceremony, Georgia pulled Callum for a chat to air out their differences. He explained: “The only thing I’ve said to you in the process is to be honest with me.
“It’s so confusing and it’s actually really hurt me. I’m not going to get in the way of you and Toby.” Georgia responded: “But I like you too. And I know you’re angry at me for saying I’m confused and I get that. But I like you as well as him.”
However, Callum shut things down as he replied: “I know but for me I can’t see past the things that have been said and done.” Georgia confessed: “Maybe I should’ve handled things differently. In some ways I wish Toby had never done that.”
