A sneak peek of the upcoming series has unveiled Alison bringing the fun factor with her notable giggle. Guests such as Jamie Laing, Richard Ayoade and David Tennant are also shown on the preview.
It would seem Alison’s side-step to the quiz show landed after she was reportedly left “gutted” after she’d been let go from her Bafta’s hosting gig and also her upcoming BBC reality show also facing the axe at the last minute.
In recent months, the Big Brother star has become more of a familiar face on our screens after stepping in for first Phillip Schofield after he quit over his ‘unwise but not illegal’ affair, and then Holly Willoughby following her departure, on This Morning.
Another claim to fame was Alison taking up a starring role on the Great British Bake Off, co-hosting alongside Noel Fielding, with the TV personalty taking over from funnyman Matt Lucas. And as if that wasn’t enough, Alison was also revealed to be taking over for the late Paul O’Grady on For The Love Of Dogs.
However, she’s also had a few setbacks, including the reported cancellation of BBC’s I Can See You Voice, where she was a judge. It was also reported that a reality show she was set to host on the BBC was cancelled before it even started.
