Love Island All stars fans beg producers ‘make it stop’ as they fume over ‘fake’ scenes

Fans of Love Island were left far from impressed during the latest episode as they complained over the “fake” TOWIE-like scenes.

Tensions were running high in the South African villa on Wednesday night (February 14), as Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk confronted their co-stars about their relationhip which many deemed as “one sided”. To clear the air, the next day, the girls were whisked away for a relaxing Galantine’s spa day.

As the ladies enjoyed all the luxuries on offer, many of them spoke about their relationships and the rift that took place in the villa the night before. But viewers at home weren’t really feeling the spa scene and branded it “fake” and “staged” while comparing it to popular reality TV show, The Only Way is Essex.

Taking to X formerly known as Twitter, fans of Love Island shared their thoughts. One viewer said: “This is literally so so fake make it stop.” Another penned: “They really are trying to make Love Island like TOWIE. Early seasons were so great but they are ruining the show with all this fakeness.”

A third fumed: “And we’re back to the scenes like it’s from towie bro I’m Tired of this. Bring back the smoking area.” While a fourth confused fan added: “Am I watching Towie or Love Island…. Wtf is this.” Earlier in the episode, fans were left divided as Georgia and Anton went head to head with their co-stars in the villa. Trying to understand who said that weren’t together for the right reasons, Anton and Georgia summoned their co-stars to the fire pit to confront them.

Viewers were left unsure about the spa scene

But things didn’t go to plan when Josh Ritchie found their confrontation offensive. He also admitted that he tried to tell Georgia H the truth. Being backed by Sophie Piper, the villa was clearly left divided by the situation. Fans at home also appeared to be divided too as they headed to social media to share their thoughts.

Anton and Georgia H confronted the villa

One viewer said: “I highly doubt Georgia H after the last few years would enter into a ‘fake’ relationship to stay in love island villa. Personally I think she dosent realise good men exist.#Loveisland and Anton would be very muggy if he was messing her around.”

But some spectators saw things differently. One fan said: “Georgia H kissing anton when she clearly is not into him is cringing.”

Love Island All Stars airs nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
