Fans have inundated Robin Windsor’s final social media post before he suddenly died at the age of 44.
Strictly Come Dancing star Windsor was announced to have passed away on Tuesday (February 20). Since the news of his death has gone public, several of his former co-stars have paid tribute as they deal with the devastating news.
As well as this, fans of the BBC show flocked to Robin’s final post to his social media platforms to pay tribute. Hundreds of well-wishers paid their respects to the professional dancer on his last ever social media upload, which was uploaded three weeks ago.

The snap shows Robin getting ready before heading off to the gym before papping himself in the mirror. Sporting a long black gym vest, he gave a cheeky smirk to the camera as he took a mirror selfie for his adoring fanbase.

Captioning the photo, Robin wrote at the time: “Hiding in the shadows.” But following his passing, hundreds of tributes have been left for him in the comments section as he left the shadows to go into the light.
One devastated fan penned: “So shocked and saddened to hear the news. Have followed him for years since Strictly, an amazing talent – RIP,” followed by a heart emoji.
A second user added: “Such sad news to wake up to. You were truly a lovely talented man, Robin. RIP x.”

Whilst a third account said: “Omg just heard the devastating news, didn’t know you but only ever heard good things. And of course you were amazing on Strictly Come Dancing.
“RIP – a reminder for us all that life is too short for all of us. Sending love to his family and many friends,” they added.
Some of Robin’s former Strictly co-stars have also come out with their own personal tribute to the dancing legend. Amy Dowden shared a snap on her Instagram story of the pair together beaming with smiles.
Captioning the photo, she wrote: “In such shock this morning to wake up to the news. Rest in peace Robin – such a kind, talented soul.”

Similarly, Emmerdale star Lisa Riley – who was paired with Robin during her stint on the dancing show – was equally heartbroken. She uploaded her own post to her social media platforms where she paid tribute to her “bestie” Windsor.
“My bestie, my Robin, my angel,” she wrote. “Now out forever angel, who is loved, will always be loved, forever in my heart – my very broken heart. I love you, shine your beautiful, electric energy from heaven – SHINE IN PEACE!”
