Katie Price’s animal woes show no sign of slowing down after her favourite horse was reportedly seized by bailiffs.
The 45-year-old has been dogged by rumours of financial struggles in recent times, and it is now claimed she currently owes the taxman £760,000. Former glamour model Katie will appear before a judge next month with the future of her £2million Mucky Mansion in the balance should HMRC be successful in its claim against her in court.
It comes four years after she was declared bankrupt for the first time after her company Jordan Trading Ltd wracked up debts of £3.2m. Earlier this month, meanwhile, bailiffs were seen taking her collection of cars amid further claims she owes ex Alex Reid £250,000 over the alleged leaking of a sex tape in which he appears.

Now, authorities have stepped in and taken her stallion Wallis – who she has owned since 2009 – along with a second horse leaving the mum-of-five “devastated”.
A source told the Sun: “Katie’s neighbours said they believed Wallis has been taken by the bailiffs along with another horse she has. They haven’t been seen for a while now and they said they have been telling people they have been taken as part of HMRC’s action to try and get back money. Wallis is Katie’s pride and joy so if this is true she will be devastated.”
It comes a decade on from the tragic death of another of Katie’s horses in an incident on the A24. That occasion saw her beloved animal escape from its field before being struck by a car, the driver of which escaped unharmed.
According to the Mail the repayment of Katie’s debt is due “immediately”. Court papers read: “The debtor is justly and truly indebted to us in the aggregate sum of £761,994.05.” Reportedly the papers also state there had been “failure to comply with a statutory demand for a liquidated sum, payable immediately.”
It is alleged that most of the debt has been racked up from unpaid self-assessment tax with the star reported to owe £535,700, with a further £40,000 lumped on top for late payment fines.

There is a further claim, meanwhile, that Katie is in debt for over £140,000 for missing VAT payments, with £10,000 added additional in fees. In January she was expected to appear before a court in regards to her insolvency debt but this was adjourned after the former glamour model pleaded with the judge that she was “scared”.
Prior to the remote hearing being made private, Katie told the judge: “I’m scared to be on here because of people on this site, they’re awful about me, they put all my private stuff on here, it’s a site where they just slag everyone off.”
Daily Star has contacted a representative for Katie for comment.
