Scarlett Moffatt revealed her “real” post pregnancy body months after giving birth.
The former Gogglebox star, 33, gave birth to her first child with her fiancé Scott Dobinson in June last year. And it’s fair to say their lives have changed for the best since they introduced their son Jude to their loyal legion of fans.
Since then, the TV personality has been documenting her journey into motherhood on social media with her loyal legion of fans online. On Tuesday (February 20), the brunette beauty explained how her body has changed since she welcomed her baby boy.

Taking to her Instagram Story from the front seat of her car, Scarlette started: “Hello lovelies! I haven’t put a filter on this because I want to talk seriously about what happens after you give birth.
“I feel like I was lulled into a false sense of security because I felt [like I was] glowing and Jude is now nearly eight months old. And all of a sudden, all the things everyone said would happen after I gave birth are happening now.”
She went on to list the changes her body has gone through as she builds up to the first year as a mother. Scarlett went on: “Like, what is this hair? It’s like I’ve got a little fringe but it’s not a fringe, that’s just baby hairs and my hair is snapping.
“I’ve got a hormonal chin with spots galore, and I went and got my boobs measured yesterday for some new bras because all of my bras don’t fit. And I’m a 34 or 36 J cup – that’s J for jugs! J for ginormous jugs.”
The new parents shared the exciting news that they were expecting their first child back in February 2023 with the star giving birth in June that year. The happy couple have been together since 2019, but they haven’t be able to avoid some bumps in the road along the way.
The pair briefly split in 2021, but thankfully they got back together less than 24 hours later. They got engaged in November last year.
Before she fell pregnant, Scarlett had shared her struggles with fertility over the past few years. Appearing on Giovanna Fletcher’s The Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, she explained how the couple met with doctors to help them conceive.
She told listeners: “We booked to see a fertility doctor to check to see that everything was OK. That was for November, and on my birthday in October I remember blowing my birthday candles out and wishing that it would happen, like, ‘I really wish I could have that baby’.
“Then two weeks later I found out I was pregnant. It was a nice feeling emailing the fertility doctor, cancelling the appointment.” The reality star explained that she had been trying to get pregnant “for a long time” and self-diagnosed” her fertility issues.
She went on: “I’ve been with Scott for nearly five years. We were trying for a long time. I think a lot of women do this. I self-diagnosed myself, like, ‘Maybe I can’t have children because it isn’t happening…’”
