Stacey Solomon was left feeling “so embarrassed” after a mishap on her Scotland holiday.
She and hubby Joe Swash had to “sleep in a car park” when they couldn’t find an open campsite. The couple, along with their kids, were on a fun-filled trip in a fancy motorhome that Joe bought for around £60,000.
Stacey has been sharing updates about their Scottish adventure on Instagram. But things didn’t go as planned.

The couple didn’t book a campsite ahead of time, so they ended up having to sleep in a car park. They had planned to drive through the night to the Isle of Skye and rest at a campsite.

But all the campsites were closed when they arrived with their kids Rex, four, Rose, two, and Belle, one. Stacey told her Instagram followers: “So we thought we’d drive through the night to the Isle of Skye while the kids were asleep and on the way we’ll just ring the camper sites and book ourselves in. We rang every single campsite in the Isle of Skye and they’re all shut for winter.”

Stacey was left red-faced as she showed off the tiny bikini hubby Joe bought her for Christmas. She went on to admit she was “embarrassed” by the situation, adding: “We’d already made the journey, and in the end… I’m actually embarrassed to say we had to sleep in a car park.”
“It was so embarrassing having to wake up this morning looking out the window and people were like coming into the car park to go about their daily day,” the mum-of-five laughed. She branded her and Joe “such s*** caravaners” as they continued their “craziest adventure ever”.

Ex-EastEnders star Joe purchased a luxury motorhome after striking up a deal with wife Stacey. He told how he agreed to go on a child-free clubbing night out on Valentine’s Day in exchange for a family camping trip.
While Stacey was hesitant about taking her young children away in the campervan, it looked like it was the right choice as she gushed about it being “magical” on Instagram. Stacey wrote: “On The Craziest Adventure Ever, 5 kids, 1 me, 1 Joe Swash and a caravan. I fell asleep somewhere in Essex and woke up looking for the Loch Ness monster. Joe’s never been happier. Day one has been all about Inverness, and it is BEAUTIFUL.”

She added: “I don’t know what I imagined travelling like this would be. Although it is hard with such little ones, it’s magical. And I don’t think I’ve ever felt so free. And off the grid. I feel Like we can go anywhere and do anything. It’s special. I don’t say this lightly… Joe was right. Happy Sunday Everyone. Lots of love from all of us! “
