Margot Robbie’s simple six-word gesture that shows she’s got ‘no ego whatsoever’

Hollywood royalty Margot Robbie proved once again that she is one of the most grounded of stars in just six words.

The Aussie actress has long been known for her down-to-earth and candid approach to interviews. And it seems that her approachability has been extended to meet and greets, as was demonstrated recently.

The Barbie actress proved her class, when she had the good fortune to bump into the Daily Star’s own Ed Gleave at a BAFTAs Film Awards bash last weekend. Margot, 33, was attending the event alongside her husband, Tom Ackerley, when the eagle-eyed reporter made the refreshing observation.

“Robbie doesn’t have any ego whatsoever,” wrote Ed in today’s Daily Star newspaper.

He continued: “I bumped into her during a champagne reception at the BAFTA Film Awards last weekend.

“And when someone introduced themselves to her, she replied: ‘Nice to meet you, I’m Margot.’

“Even though she’s undoubtedly one of the most famous people on the planet, she still doesn’t assume everyone knows who she is.

“I’m not sure if I’d become Hollywood royalty that I’d be so gracious!”

The actress has long been very relaxed and open when it comes to chatting with others.

Without a hint of trepidation she once lifted the lid on just how some raunchy nude scenes are filmed.

She even divulged what happened when some hair is required ‘below’.

During a discussion about the raunchy opening sequence to the flick, on the Fitzy & Wippa podcast, the Aussie’s conversation quickly turned to “down under”.

One of the hosts of the programme mentioned how tricky it was for period filming to get females with real breasts and pubic hair, when Robbie piped up with her fun fact about how it’s done.

“They have things called merkins, which is like a wig but for genitalia,” she said.

“I remember on Wolf Of Wall Street there was an entire merkin room, there was a whole room full of merkins.

“I guess people would go in and pick out, you know.”
