Five Star singer Deniece Pearson has recalled her romance with a famous singer – and described their first kiss.
She dated fellow 80s icon Matt Goss at the beginning of both of their careers and have since met numerous times throughout the years. Deniece even told us where their first kiss took place – in the back of a lavish limousine.
Deniece exclusively said: “Matthew was my first kiss… So, we met when they were it was the premiere of The Naked Gun, the movie with Priscilla Presley.

“They sat several celebrities all in the same spot and they put me right next to Matt and I thought ‘Oh my god’. The guys I was so into at that time had blond hair and blue eyes.
“We got talking and just exchanged numbers. Then we ended up meeting outside Buckingham Palace. I pulled up that was a meeting place in my stretch with my bodyguard and so did he with his. So I jumped out of mine and went in his and yeah, I got my first kiss in the back of his limousine. It was absolutely amazing.”

The singer described their romance as “phenomenal” and the pair even jetted off to a luxury holiday with one another before things eventually fizzled out. She added: “It was just so phenomenal.
“It was like a fairy tale and then we went to Barbados together and came back and then we didn’t speak for a little while, then I moved out to Los Angeles. Then one day I went to get my watch fixed in Donna Avenue in Tarzana jewellery store and I was just about to walk out and I had a little voice say ‘Deniece’. I just looked around and I thought ‘What on earth?’.

“‘Please open up a big hole in the ground’ because I had no makeup on. And “I said ‘Oh my God! What are you doing here?’ So over the years, we’ve kind of like met and then kind of like, departed for a while and then met up, and yeah. It’s amazing.”
The singer is still focusing on her music now and will be releasing a new album in the summer to celebrate years of her success.
