AJ Odudu and Will Best will welcome a new batch of famous housemates next week.

The doors of the Celebrity Big Brother house open on Monday (March 4) and a new bunch of famous faces will give up their life of luxury and move into the most famous house in Britain.

Over the course of the series, the celebrities will take on tasks, put each other up for eviction and also spend 24 hours a day together as part of the social experiment reality show.

ITV revived Big Brother in October last year and it was confirmed weeks later that CBB would also be coming back to screens with AJ and Will as hosts following a rave review from viewers and fans of the show.

Speaking about the “biggest lessons” they’ve learned from presenting the civilian series, AJ told Daily Star and other press: “We need a good nights kip because when Big Brother starts its go, go, go. The housemates are always doing something and the storylines are always changing.

“I love a party. It was my birthday a couple of days ago and I’m still celebrating it. It’s the BRITs right before Celebrity Big Brother and me and Will are already pep talking each other. Will added: “I will be able to not go to an after party but it’s the devil on my shoulder here which is going to be causing problems with that.”

He also added that him and AJ quickly become fond of the contestants. He said: “We get emotional attached to housemates in a weird way and I need to remember when they come out that I actually haven’t been living with them.” The full CBB line-up has been leaked days before the live launch show with Louis Walsh, Fern Britton and Levi Roots all on the guest list.

Opening up on who they’d like to see in the house, AJ said: “The success of the civilian series was all down to the cast. It was so diverse and they had such different backgrounds and that is what I want applied to the celebrity version. How fun would it be to have a WWE wrester? Who knows. We actually really don’t know. At the end of the day, we’ve seen rumours as well.

“Some people I think ‘Whack them in’ but I definitely want to see someone from Selling Sunset. Give me an American because they never quite fully understand the concept and they never know who the UK celebs are so the two worlds colliding is always perfection. We want some A-list celebrities to go in there and say ‘Where’s the champagne?’.

Will added: “I want to have a mix of ages. I definitely want at least a couple of older people in there because it’s great seeing the difference between old school celebs and new ones. I want people who haven’t washed their own pants in 40 years. I want a musician, I want a sports person, get a royal in there and get a reality person in there because they’re part of the fabric of our current celebrity culture.”

Celebrity Big Brother starts Monday, March 4 at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX
