Dancing on Ice star Adele Roberts has been told she is “unrecognisable” in a resurfaced clip from her time on Big Brother.
Roberts, 44, currently has a thriving career as she works on the radio, as well as taking part in a number of competitive TV shows. Amongst the various programmes she has been a part of, there is I’m A Celebrity and Celebrity Coach Trip.
But the Scouser’s initial big break came in 2002 when she appeared on the third series of Big Brother. The series, which was the second to be aired on Channel 4, had a number of other iconic housemates including Alison Hammond and eventual winner Kate Lawler.

And while most of the time, the housemates got on well well with each other, a resurfaced clip from the show revealed that it was not all plain sailing. In one tense video, Adele threatened to “f***ing deck” Jade, who would go on to become a legendary housemate for both the right and wrong reasons.

The argument was triggered when Adele humiliated Jade after she was revealed to have a verruca on her foot, but did not know what it was. After leaving Jade in tears, the other housemates rally around Goody, who died in 2009 of cervical cancer, saying that Roberts only lashed out “because she probably worries about it”.
Jade, not willing to let it get her down, cries: “Yeah but that’s besides the point, she basically said to me I’m mean because I have a verruca, I don’t know what they are.” Adele then entered the room, only for Jade to continue the argument, saying that Adele had ridiculed her for not wear flip flops in the shower.
A confused Adele shot back, asking: “Did I say that? Jade, don’t start me off because I didn’t say that, I told you you’ve got fungal disease on your skin.”
As fellow housemate Alex Sibley asks Adele to be more tactful, she refuses – saying: “She’s saying stuff I didn’t say. I did not day ‘urgh’ and, at the end of the day, it was someone else who told you you had to wear flip flops, not me.

“Stop making up lies,” Roberts finished. “Jade, don’t f**king start, I swear.”
However, Jade also refused to let it go and the altercation became more and more tense, as the pair go back and forth on what was actually said. The two eventually speak over each other with swearing galore being heard, before Adele tells Jade to “f**k off”.
After Jade tells Adele that she used to like her, Adele fires back saying: “I hate people who lie, I’ve told you that. So don’t you ever, ever lie to other people about me because I did not sit there and say ‘urgh’ and say ‘you’ve got to wear flip flops.”
Seemingly going nowhere with the argument, Adele decides to leave the room, before seething: “I’m going to f***ing deck her, seriously.” The tense clip then ends with a shot of a crying Jade.

Adele has addressed the argument in the past and admitted she “carried a lot of guilt” over how she conducted herself in the House. Opening up to her fellow campmates on I’m A Celeb in 2019, she explained that she felt “like I let myself down and I could have been a much nicer person”.
She added: “”It was only because I’ve come out that I realised that words are really powerful and you should try and build people up. I just let the game get to me and got too negative and I just won’t do that again this time.”
