This week, Kerry appeared on the Josh & Archie podcast. The co-host asked her: “Which reality show gave you the biggest fee to appear on it?”
Not afraid to speak her mind, Kerry replied: “Big Brother.” Fans will recall how she appeared on the show during its eighth series back in 2011 and was the runner-up.
Kerry then noted: “The jungle was sh*t. I only got £25,000 for that.” When asked how much she got for Big Brother, Kerry replied: “Nearly £400,000.”
She went on: “Should I really reveal those numbers in this crisis?” Kerry then added: “Isn’t that mad to think the jungle, I only got £25,000.”
Kerry starred on I’m A Celeb in 2004 during its third series, alongside Katie Price and Jordan, and ended up winning the show. The podcast host said: “But then you’d have earned a lot more because you won it. As in opportunities of it.”
Kerry replied: “No! Well the money I got I gave to charity, I gave nearly a million to charity.” The mum-of-five was then told how she was the “face of Iceland” back in the day.
Kerry said: “I was. That’s was great and made me lots of money. That was like £400,000 a year. Something like that yeah. I wasn’t just the face of Iceland. We did 16 hour days, the filming you do.”
It comes after Kerry slammed critics of her career as an adult content creator. The 43-year old joined an Over-18 platform in May 2020 with the approval of her five children and fiancé Ryan Mahoney in a bid to boost her income.
However, she has revealed that some members of the public have said her kids should be put into care, deeming her career choice inappropriate. Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry shares daughters Molly, 22, and Lilly-Sue, 21, with her Westlife ex-husband Brian McFadden, and Heidi, 17, and Max, 15, with another her second ex-hubby, Mark Croft. Kerry’s youngest child – nine-year old daughter Dylan George – was fathered by the late George Kay.
Speaking to its hosts Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, Kerry told the Straight to the Comments podcast that her reason for joining the platform was she needed to pay the rent and racy snaps of her were already in the public domain anyway. “I had all five kids at home at the time and someone mentioned OnlyFans,” she explained. “So, I sat the children down and I said, ‘look, there’s no work, I’m struggling, how would you feel if I started at OnlyFans?'”
