Katie Price reveals her real name and moans ‘what the hell was mum thinking’

Katie Price has shared her real name and has blasted her mum for the unusual title.

The 45-year-old former glamour model shot to fame for her Page 3 persona Jordan, which she was known throughout the nineties. She then decided to switch to Katie Price as she got older. However, this isn’t her real name either.

She has a rather long name which is Katrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield and she opened up about the long title on Grace Dent’s Comfort Food podcast.

The name includes her father Ray’s surname, Infield, however he left when Katie was just four and she changed her name to Price after her stepdad Paul, who is married to her mum Amy.

Revealing the name to Grace, reality TV regular Katie exclaimed: “What the hell was my mum on”‘, The star also admitted there are sides to her that people don’t know as she insisted she is “very underestimated”.

She explained: “Because, you never hear about the stuff I do for charity, you never hear that I compete on my horses, you never hear about me walking all the dogs, you never hear what I do with all the family.” There’s such a different side and I’m actually quite boring, I’m such a homely person. I love being at home.”

As Grace interrupted the mother of five, she confirmed: “What you’re saying is there’s a cosiness about you that people don’t see or know.” Discussing Katie’s motto, “Never underestimate the Pricey”, Grace probed the mother of five on the one thing she is most often misjudged for, as Katie explained people often think she is “damaged goods. I think people think I’m proper damaged goods.

“But I would say I’m a survivor. I’ve had a colourful life, but the sad thing is a lot of people these days, they know Katie Price, but they don’t know my Jordan days. And I don’t think a lot of people realise I’ve done a hell of a lot in my life, seen a lot, good things, worked a lot, but I’m still humble and down to earth.”
