The hosts of Celebrity Big Brother spin-off were forced to issue an apology on Friday night after guest Danny Beard dropped a C-bomb live on air.
Following Gary Goldsmith’s eviction on the main show an hour earlier, the uncle of Kate Middleton joined presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best to discuss his brief time in the house. Joining them was drag queen and performance artist Danny Beard – and it didn’t take them long to put their foot in it.
The former Britain’s Got Talent contestant was asked about growing tensions between housemates Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Zeze Millz when they made the faux pas. “I think Ekin-Su is keen to impress Sharon and Louis and if Louis is constantly like ‘Oh I don’t like her, she sounds like a c**t, she looks like a c**t’,” they said.

With gasps heard around the studio, Danny asked AJ and Will: “Oh, can I say that?”
Of course, they couldn’t – prompting the pair to grovel to viewers at home. “No that is the one thing you can’t say,” responded Will after a brief moment of being shocked into silence.
“We are sorry about Danny’s use of a particular word but it is done, it is in the past and we are not going to say it again.” And AJ added: “We are sorry about that. That’s the pressure of live TV.”
Danny soon stood up and offered to leave the ITV show, only for AJ and Will to reassure them they could carry on. Over on X, meanwhile, fans reacted in shock to the chat, with one user commenting: “Oh my god Danny Beard using the C word on #BBLL #CBBUK.”
Another joked: “Danny beard dropping the c-bomb TWICE on LIVE TV was not on my 2024 bingo but I’m all kinds of obsessed.” A third added: “Oh my days! C-bomb! Danny Beard has been naughty and will be put in the pink wheelie bin!” And a fourth wrote: “I love Danny Beard casually dropping the word c**t, several times, live on ITV2 lmao. I mean it’s 11pm so surely the apology isn’t needed.”
It came just 24 hours after another C-bomb on ITV – as newsreader Nina Hossain made a mistake when talking about Chancellor Jeremy Hunt. At the time, 48-year-old Nina was chatting to a political correspondent in Greater Manchester about the government’s use of taxpayers’ money to pay damages after a Tory MP falsely accused an academic of supporting Hamas.
“You spoke to Mr C**t,” she said, before correcting herself saying: “Mr Hunt, how did he respond to calls for her to resign?” She later apologised for the error.
