Strictly winner Billy Bailey revealed he took home one outfit home with him for a special reason.
When asked if he stole anything from the show, Bill revealed there was one look that he couldn’t bear to part with. Bill told us: “I haven’t got any spangly outfits, but I still have my Zoot suit which I wore during my Rappers Delight performance.
“I have the shirt, tie and hat – and coincidentally the brand name of the hat was a Bailey so I felt I ought to keep it. The suit was also adjusted and fitted to me, so it fits perfectly.”

The comedian also revealed what he learnt on the show and told us about the challenges he faced. He was partnered with Motsi Mabuse whilst he was on the programme in 2010.
Bill added: “I took Strictly on as a huge challenge, and what I realised very quickly – is that while you need to have a lot of physical rigour to practise the choreography so many times and get it into your body – what’s surprised me was the amount of concentration and mental strength you need to be able to pull the routine off on a Saturday night in front of a big TV crowd.”
The star who is set to go on a comedy tour is also been working with The National Lottery after their research showed how people feel themselves are stuck in a digital fix, with 24% of people considering scrolling through social media to be a genuine hobby. Talking about the partnership, Bill said: “When National Lottery asked me to be involved in this campaign I thought it was a great idea.
“I think it’s easy to fall into a pattern of behaviour when we have a bit of spare time and think ‘I’ll just go on my phone or watch a bit of TV’, so I think National Lottery Open Week is a great incentive to get out and about and try new things, and it resonated strongly with me.
“If you have a National Lottery ticket or Scratchcard, that’s all you need to access all of these amazing offers and unlock free or discounted entry to all the venues taking part across the UK. There are bird reserves, nature reserves and places like the Eden Project which is a fantastic day out.”
For those wanting to reduce screen time, The National Lottery, in its 30th year, is offering a host of special offers including free entry to a range of National Lottery-funded venues across the UK as part of National Lottery Open Week (9th – 17th March).
