The season is also set to feature guest appearances from other former TOWIE stars, including Vas J Morgan and Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell as Essex gang get back together across the pond. However, it’s far from happy families as a shock row is set to explode between the siblings.
Speaking to Daily Star, Charlie said: “It’s been a long time coming for series two. I’m looking forward to it getting out there and allowing the fans to watch it. I think its going to be a powerful series. It’s packed full of drama from start to finish. You get to see a big argument between the Sims family.
“In all the other shows we’ve been part in before there’s really never been a big argument like this. That’s really divided the family but you’ll have to wait and see what happens. It wasn’t something anybody would have foreseen. It happened in the moment and you’ll get to see it.”
Charlie has previously worked with his sisters on The Only Way Is Essex and he’s opened up about what it’s like working with his sisters and taking sides. He added: “On this occasion, it was very difficult because I had some feelings and Chloe, Frankie and Demi had some built up feelings from over a long period of time that just built up brick by brick and eventually when we got into the same room it exploded.
“It was tough and I didn’t expect it. You’ll see my reaction and I was shocked as everyone was in the moment when it got heated. The whole series for me was a really surprising and shocking experience.”
Charlie proposed to Georgia after being together just four months and the row has even distrusted wedding plans. He explained: “A wedding is a huge family event and it’s discussed whether or not we should hold off or go ahead, who should be invited and who shouldn’t. The wedding chat was a very. very difficult time. Originally everybody was kind of going to be a bridesmaid but I don’t know where it all stands at moment. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
“Georgia is very emotional. She’s really close to all my sisters so for her to watch and see this unfold was emotional for her as well. She’s a very sensitive person and she’s not used to this kind of drama. Me, Frankie, Demi and Chloe have done TV and done stuff before but for her it’s the first time she’s every experienced it.”
As well as a third series on the horizon for the Sims family, fans will be able to watch the first series of House of Sims on Netflix in the near future after the team managed to strike a lucrative deal with the broadcasting giants. Charlie said: “Series three is on the cards. We’re having discussions about it now because series one was such a big hit, the trailer for series two was impactful when it came out so we’re talking about series three now which is great for us.
“Series one was about getting to LA, the journey and about making dreams coming true. Series two is the reality of when you’re trying to make dreams come true it doesn’t always go the way you want them to go. It’s about who is going to stay and who is going to go and all that gets revealed. It’s a completely different series to series one.”
“Once series one went out on OFTV we were shooting series two and we had a meeting with Netflix. We had some positive talks and OFTV were positive about building a relationship with Netflix and we brokered the deal. We’re really excited about it because it’s a worldwide platform.
“Once the cameras are on they are on. It’s a real, fly-on-the-wall experience. Everything we shot we brought home with us. We went to bed at night thinking about it, woke up in the morning thinking about it and still do. This is real life, we give the audience everything we had. There’s a lot of raw emotion this series and it was a lot to film. It’s great for the audience because you’re going to love it but being part of it was really tough series to do.”
House of Sims series two drops on OFTV on Wednesday, March 13
