Sarah-Jane Honeywell has raised eyebrows by posing topless 13 years on after her CBeebies sacking.
The vegan star, who just got her first mammogram, caused a huge stir all those years ago, by posing without a bra as part of a campaign for animal rights.
In a magnificent play on words, she jibed at her old employers, with an amusing caption which read: “Well, I just had my #cboobies photographed in a whole new way!”

Taking to Instagram, she posted: “I had my first #mammogramssavelives. Yes, I’m a woman of a certain age now & so I join a new club of how women over 50 get their (sic) t***ies captured on camera.”
She continued: “So here is a picture of my external knockers (plasters at the ready) to celebrate the @nhsengland & to say to women everywhere, look after your t***ies! Now I just need to brace myself for the HRT, I guess,” followed by a blowing kiss emoji, aimed at her fans.
A mammogram is an extremely vital breast screening, where medical experts utilise X-rays to look for cancers that are too small in size to detect with our sight and hands. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is a treatment used to help women deal with symptoms of the menopause.
Sarah-Jane was a popular figure on CBeebies during her stint on the channel. However, in 2011, she was embroiled in a controversy that ended her time on children’s television.
The blonde bombshell posed topless on a ginormous plate of food in London’s Trafalgar Square to promote veganism. Alas, her protest didn’t go down well with the bosses.
Despite not getting paid a penny for her involvement, producers gave her all she could handle. They eventually sacked her for posing in a skimpy vest and pouring Diet Coke all over herself.
Last year, the presenter opened up about her difficult time at the BBC, revealing that she often felt intimidated. She explained: “If women speak out, they’re the problem.” On one particularly traumatic occasion, she was forced to share a dressing room with a male co-star, ‘with no explanation’.
Deeply upset, she voiced her concerns, which were subsequently swept under the carpet. She asserted: “I told one of the male directors that I wanted to be in with the girls, and it became such a big deal he would hardly speak to me, he was so angry.”
