Love Island All Stars couple ‘split’ after villa exit after saying they’d ‘make it work’

One Love Island: All Stars have reportedly split.

Luis Morrison and Demi Jones left the villa hand-in-hand, giving viewers the confidence that they had the minerals to make it work in the outside world. Alas, within just weeks of landing back in the UK, they’ve decided to part ways.

At the start of the series, the pair developed a palpable chemistry, giving the impression that they had a shot of making a decent run in the series. However, their road to glory was halted fast when they were dumped from the villa and sent packing back home.

But despite their time on the show having reached a premature conclusion, they decided to continue dating, believing they had a shot of going the distance. But after a few nice meals, the pair have come to the amicable conclusion that they’d be better off as friends.

A source told The Sun: “They had a bit of holiday romance and did really get on, but Demi has a lot going on and decided it would be better to cool things off. They haven’t made a big deal about it because they are still mates and happy to hang out with the rest of the group still. There’s just nothing romantic there.”

Upon their arrival back from South Africa, Demi told her fans: “I’m happy, we’ll see where it goes, we’ll see what happens.” However, she wasn’t making any promises, admitting logistical issues could scupper the romance.

The Thyroid cancer campaigner explained: “Since coming out [of the show], it’s difficult. I live in Portsmouth, he lives in Manchester, and all your work commitments are super, super crazy.”

Exhibiting his honesty, Luis was completely transparent about the situation with his two exes and mothers of his kids — Cally Jane Beech and Chloe Elizabeth.

Demi said: I’m not one to judge, he did sit down and he did tell me in the villa his situation. It wasn’t a shock when it came out.”

The former flames were taken aback when they were dumped from the villa. Demi explained: “We were actually the only ones who really liked each other, so I think it was such a shock for all the islanders, as well as ourselves, that we were dumped.”

Luis added: “I’m gutted to be leaving the villa, but I’m so happy to be leaving with Demi. Even though we weren’t coupled up, I wish we could’ve stayed longer, as I thought we were a solid couple. I loved the time we shared together, and overall, I’ve had the best experience; it was even better than my time on series one.”
