Comic Relief fans were totally gobsmacked by the number of celebs hosting the show on Friday night.
It was a big evening as Lenny Henry said goodbye after 39 years. He had a laugh with stars like Davina McCall, Joel Dommett, Paddy McGuinness, Rosie Ramsey, Romesh Ranganathan, Maya Jama and David Tennant. People watching at home couldn’t stop talking about how many hosts there were and even the celebs made fun of it.
Lenny joked: “Eight hosts for the price of none.” Joel from The Masked Singer said, ‘Even I made the cut’, and funnyman Romesh quipped about his game show, ‘And I’m going to try and not be the weakest link’, reports Birmingham Live.

Paddy chimed in: “And I live five minutes down the road so I thought I’d pop down.” Fans rushed to X, which used to be Twitter, to share their thoughts.
Ashley Parker posted: “#ComicRelief Do you think they have got enough presenters! ” Michael Wyles wondered: “Do they really need six presenters to read the autocue? “.
Brekkie tweeted: “6-8 hosts on stage at one time is ridiculous. Just have pairs doing an hour each line they used too, and include some faces we don’t usually see in a presenting role.”
“Why are there 47 hosts for #ComicRelief ! ! ,” SuperTV 48 joked. Lulu Mccoy questioned: “Do they really need 8 presenters? “. Michael Wyles stated: “So many questions…Why are there so many presenters? Why are barely any of them actual comedians? Why has it not been for over 20 years? “.
