Celebrity Ex on the Beach stars have told fans they can “expect drama”.
The new series finally kicks off on Tuesday (March 19) and previous seasons of the MTV reality show have shocked viewers with a series of altercations, unexpected relationships and surprise arrivals.
Now, 2024’s installment promises to be no different as the stars of Love Island, TOWIE and Married At First Sight Australia to name but a few unite. The all star line-up includes former couples that spent years together, others who’s relationships were very short-lived, and of course those romances ended in cheating scandals.

Daily Star sat down with Love Island winners and former couple Finley Tapp and Paige Turley, TOWIE’s Chloe Brockett and MAFS’ Tamara Joy to hear their thoughts on what we can expect in the Gran Canaria villa.
“Sometimes it was hard to tell what was going on between couples because there were so many of us in there,” 26-year old Paige explained. “But I think it’s going to be a nice balance of drama, love and laughter. And drama again! Hopefully we won’t fall out on because we’ll all be watching it together.”
Although she appeared to be more cool than Finley at the prospect of them being around each other again, she couldn’t help but admit doing so made for an “awkward” experience – not just for herself, but for the others too. “It is awkward and its not particularly a big villa so its kind of like ‘Where do you place yourself?” she said.
“I was kind of lucky because I was in a good place, but no matter how good that place is, it’s still awkward if you’re sat upstairs and you look down and see him [Finley] there.”
Chloe, 23, who is joined on the show by her former flame, James Lock, said she enjoyed the freedom the show brought – in contrast to her past TV experience. “There were cameras on us 24/7 so it’ll be interesting to see what we’re all like when we we’re being told – not what to say – but in some scenes you can see what we’re like when we first open our eyes. It’ll be really good.”
Tamara added the emotions she went through felt like a “rollercoaster experience” but overall, a “good” one. “I’m really excited to watch it back,” she said, before highlighting her friendships with Finley and his fellow ex-Love Islander, Joe Garratt.
“Joe’s a really easy guy to get on with and we had a great friendship throughout the show,” she gushed, with the pair appearing to bond in the first episode of the series. “The three of us had a friendly, funny, laughing vibe going on and that’s why they came out to Australia.”
Finley also alluded to the trip – something that wouldn’t have come about without the show. “Me and Joe are really close and we’ve been out to Australia to see Tamara,” he added. “It’s nice making new friends in there because normally you just would just never cross paths with these people if you didn’t do these experiences. That’s the really nice side to it.”
The four are joined on the show by Ashley Resch (Playboy model), Chloe Veitch and James Pendergrass (Too Hot To Handle), Ivorian Doll (rapper), Jarred Evans (FBoy Island), Joe Garratt (Love Island), Yazmin Oukhellou and James Lock (TOWIE), Callum Izzard (Ibiza Weekender), Jake Ellis (The Bachelorette Australia), Jessika Power (MAFS Australia), Parker Abbott (The Circle US) and Zy Wilson (The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On).
