Chantelle Houghton says she’s “nearly lost five stone” in weight after an epic lifestyle overhaul.
The 41-year-old, who had attempted many fad diets over the years decided to “completely change her way of eating” in order to shed some lbs. Not only is she looking fantastic but the reality star is feeling much better in mind and soul too.
Back in 2006, Chantelle shot to fame on Celebrity Big Brother as a Paris Hilton lookalike, who was actually pretending to be a celebrity in order to keep her place on the show. She was tasked with convincing her famous co-stars that she was part of a girlband.

Having been so successful with bluffing her housemates, Chantelle was awarded an official spot on the celebrity version of the programme – even though she wasn’t famous. Needless to say, she was a huge hit with the entire nation and even went on to be crowed the 2006 winner.
After he stint on the programme, she was propelled to extraordinary heights of fame and was even swooped up in a whirlwind marriage with her on-screen co-star Samuel Preston, from the band Ordinary Boys. Despite the pair, carrying on their romance after Big Brother, it didn’t last and they parted ways less than two years later.
In 2012, Chantelle’s life changed for the better when she welcomed her daughter, Dolly, who she shared with her ex fiancé cage fighter Alex Reid. The pair parted ways when their baby was just 11 weeks old.
With many ups and downs in life along the way, Chantelle also battled with her weight and found herself experimenting with a number of yo-yo type diets. But Two and half years ago now, she decided to make one major significant change with food that completely transformed her.
The TV star has almost shed a whopping 5st in weight after turning to a zero sugar diet. Chantelle has also been a fully fledged vegan for over seven years but did insists the pounds dropping was nothing to do with being plant-based.
Giving us the low down on what she did, the mum-of-one told Daily Star: “So all I did was cut out sugar and processed food. I don’t exercise, never have and just completely changed my lifestyle.”
She went on to add: “I’m not on a diet or a faddy diet that I’ve done over the years, I just completely changed my way of eating and I’ve lost nearly five stone. I just feel so much better mentally and my skin is better, I feel better in myself and clothes fit me.
“I feel great and that’s just all from cutting sugar and processed food out,” added the CBB winner.
Chantelle went on to reveal what a typical food day would look like. She explained: “For breakfast, I’ll have Bran flakes and sugar free oat milk, mid morning hummus and rice cakes, or celery or carrot sticks or something like that. And natural yoghurt.
“Lunch, I might have sushi with noodles. Dinner last night was a tofu salad with olives, cherry tomatoes, peppers, couscous and I might treat myself to a tiny bit of dark chocolate.”
