Ellie Leach is now selling video messages to her fans.
The former Coronation Street star, who is the youngest celebrity to win Strictly Come Dancing, is making some extra cash by recording special greetings from her phone, , report the Mirror.
Her dance partner from the show, Vito Coppola, is also selling video messages, but his cost a bit more at £79 each on Cameo and It’s not just Ellie who’s making money this way as other famous faces from TV are doing it too.
Corrie Bill Roache, who’s been on the soap for over 60 years as Ken Barlow, charges £51 for a video message. Bev Callard, who played Liz McDonald in the ITV soap, will send you a message for £90, and Danny Dyer who played Mick Carter in EastEnders asks for £100.
Matthew Wolfenden, best known as David Metcalfe from Emmerdale, has dropped his price to £16 after leaving the show and splitting from his wife, Carley Webb. Meanwhile, Former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! politican Nigel Farage charges £75 per video and has made a lot of money since he started.
Vito sent Ellie a lovely video for her 23rd birthday on Instagram, calling her “My Lulu, my baby.” He and Ellie were dogged by rumours during the show that they were romantically involved. Ellie recently shit down rumours about her love life with a post on Instagram.
Sharing a cute black and white snap of Vita on her Instagram Story, the former Corrie star said the dancer had “the cutest face”. “Love this man dearly,’ she said, adding a single red heart emoji. But she went on: “Men and women can be friends and can love each other as friends… just saying x.”
Viewers were convinced that Ellie and Vito were an item during the last season of Strictly, which they went on to win, noting their closeness on the dancefloor and the adorable comments they made about each other on social media. The are they/aren’t they whisperings rumbled on throughout the competition, but Ellie and Vito cleared things up when they appeared on ITV’s This Morning in December after winning the Glitterball trophy.
“Honestly, we’ve just been having the most amazing time dancing and we’ve built a really strong bond and a friendship that will last forever,” said Ellie. “I am a very first impression person and when we met, we had that feeling that we knew each other for so long “I’m so so lucky to have you in my life,” Vito told the former Faye Windass actress.
