BBC EastEnders viewers have made a plea as Martin Fowler, played by James Bye, made a dramatic return to Walford on Monday night.
In true soap fashion, Martin’s comeback was filled with drama as he discovered a big secret. During the episode, Jack Branning was seen worrying about Denise Fox’s ultimatum – it’s either his job or their marriage – as he continues to question what happened on Christmas Day.
Later, Jack chose to share his worries with Stacey Slater, who he’s been having a secret fling with. She advised him to do whatever Denise wants to keep things calm.

Stacey also decided to interfere in Denise and Jack’s relationship, urging Denise to keep her love life on track. To keep things peaceful, they planned a family barbecue for everyone, especially for baby Charli, since Jack’s son Ricky is the dad of Stacey’s daughter Lily’s baby.
The family barbecue started but there was obvious tension between Denise and Stacey, reports the Mirror. Later, Stacey and Jack snuck off to the back garden.
Stacey told Jack she wished she could have him all to herself but understood that he needed to be there for Denise. They shared a hug and couldn’t resist a kiss, leading to a passionate moment.
EastEnders fans were on the edge of their seats when Martin walked in on Stacey and Jack sharing a sneaky kiss, and he was not happy. He blurted out: “You have got to be kidding me! “.
Fans quickly jumped on Twitter to share their thoughts. They really want Stacey to stop messing around with Jack and get back with her ex, Martin.
Someone tweeted: “Reunite ar Martin and Stacey please #Eastenders”. Another person wrote: “I really hope Martin and Stacey get back together. I think they’re lovely together #EastEnders.”
Other fans were just chuffed to see Martin back on the square. One fan cheered: “Whoop! Whoop! Glad to see Martin’s back #EastEnders”.
Someone else said: “When I tell you I audibly gasped at Martin catching em, my god. I b****y love this show! #EastEnders” and another added: “Martin is back! Yay! #EastEnders.”
Catch all the drama on EastEnders from Monday to Thursday at 7:30 pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
