Ekin-Su Culculoglu finally broke cover for the first time after failing to turn up for the Celebrity Big Brother Finale.
Throughout her reality TV career, the brunette bombshell has made a habit of capturing headlines. During her time on Love Island, Ekin-Su’s relationship with ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti saw her reach monumental popularity, with the nation voting her the winner.
However, during CBB her controversial antics resulted in the opposite effect, with the viewers evicting her long before the final. Following her polarising run in the show, the icon confessed that she has been ‘taking some time away to reflect’ on the backlash she has sustained from the show.

It appears Ekin-Su is keen to completely eradicate the programme from her life, having reportedly removed several Big Brother posts from her Instagram.
On March 26, in pics seen obtained by OK!, the 29-year-old actress was captured in the aftermath of a heavy workout session in London. Ekin-Su oozed swagger in a leather trench coat, which she sported over nude gym leggings and a black top. With a beaming smile across her face, the ex-Islander wore a navy Miami Beach baseball cap as she took a plethora of selfies.
After being evicted alongside Levi Roots, Ekin-Su found herself the victim of a bullying scandal. Hosts Aj Adudu and Will Best referred to her as ‘Ekin Boo Hoo Hoo’ during her appearance on ITV2’s Late & Live shortly following her eviction. The shocking nature of the comments resulted in Ofcom receiving over 100 complaints.
Ultimately, Ekin-Su decided to skip the final, releasing the following statement: “I know it’s unlike me to hide away, but I’ve been taking some time to reflect. Sometimes, in our lowest moments, we learn the most important lessons about ourselves. “I hope you don’t think I was selfish for setting boundaries and putting my own needs first last night.
“I’m fully aware that not everybody will understand my absence, or think it was the right decision to make, BUT it was the right decision for me.
“I chose to remove myself from a potentially uncomfortable situation that I preferred to avoid. I’m proud of myself for recognising what I need during this time, despite the hate that might come my way. Accountability is key, and when I’m ready, I will give some context around these past few weeks.
“Thank you to everybody who has sent kindness my way, I see you, and I appreciate you. The new chapter starts now. I hope everybody enjoyed watching the CBB final. A huge congratulations to David for the win. Xx”
