Emmerdale Rishi Sharma actor unrecognisable with huge beard as he reunites with co-star

Bhasker Patel looks completely different in a snap alongside his former Emmerdale co-star.

The actor, who starred as Rishi Sharma for 12 years until his character was suddenly killed off last year, reunited with soap star pal Liam Fox. Taking to Instagram, the 68-year-old shared a selfie alongside Liam, who played Dan Spencer from 2011 until 2023.

Bhasker looked unrecognisable in the snap as he sported a huge bushy beard – the complete opposite to Rishi’s clean-shaven look. Liam, 53, is now starring in the new theatre production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as Grandpa Potts,” reports OK!.

Eric Pollard believes that Amit killed Rishi

His brother Amit (Anil Goutam) was at Holdgate Farm that day. Suspicions about Amit are beginning to grow, with Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) sharing his fears that Amit murdered Rishi.

Anil has hinted that Amit has secrets. He previously said: “So I guess he’s the sort of person who you’ve only seen one aspect of him and he has a side to him. He’s quite dark as he has a darker side to him, but not in his own mind. I don’t think [he sees it] in his own mind.”
