Amanda Holden has furiously shut down reports that she was left “shocked” after witnessing a hot tub orgy in her hotel.
In his book recalling three decades of Manchester’s club scene, author Sacha Lord claims the Britain’s Got Talent judge once complained about the X-rated incident, which occurred in a penthouse sweet named after her co-star, Simon Cowell.
The 53-year old star was staying in Manchester when the rumoured antics began, which she reportedly spotted from her room’s window. Lord writes that Amanda soon reported it to management at The Light Aparthotel, where it was claimed a headline DJ from the nearby Warehouse Project club was involved.

Club co-founder Lord also claimed that Amanda allegedly heard the commotion, which saw an unnamed DJ in question frolic with bar staff in the tub. However, Amanda has since denied the reports made by Lord in his book.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Sunday (March 31), she wrote: “Never heard of his DJ (they are not even named!) and have no recollection of anything to do with his.
“Doubt i’d be ‘furious’ if I had spotted it though. WTF are @harpernorthuk? Do your lawyers not check these stories? I am onto it!!! What a made up piece of junk! Big mistake, HUGE, you work on commission right? I am on to this?”
Sacha, who co-created Manchester’s Parklife festival, recalls in his new book, Tales From the Dancefloor. “When she looked out of her window she must have been pretty shocked at what she saw, as she reported it to management, and The Warehouse Project was banned from The Light”.
Lord also penned a tale of rapper Cardi B cancelling a headline slot at the festival just days before it began because her “boob job hadn’t healed in time”.
He also claimed former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown left organisers almost £50,000 out of pocket after demanding 1,000 people be on his guestlist. Recalling some of his more scarier incidents, he claimed: “I’ve been shot at in a drive-by shooting, bundled into a car by gangsters and had death threats, which was not very acid house.
“I’ve been sued and broke, I’ve had to deal with an army of rats who were high on cocaine, had £130,000 stolen from me during an armed robbery, and have been targeted by a Romanian organised crime gang. Not Balearic, as we say in Manchester.”
Blonde bombshell Amanda, 53, is currently enjoying a sun-soaked Easter getaway in a tropical destination. On Friday (March 29) she turned up the heat as she paraded her toned physique in the red-hot two piece on the beach.
And she looked nothing short of sensational as she channelled her inner Pamela Anderson as she jogged across the sand to Jim Jamison’s hit single, I’m Always Here. It was clear the star had already been out for a dip in the crystal-clear ocean as her honey blonde tresses swayed behind her in loose beachy waves. She captioned the cheeky Instagram clip: “Bapwatch. Happy Hotcross bun day.”
Tales from the Dancefloor is released on April 12
